Rare Earth Red Oxide

This painting is part of a series which illustrates my interest in the material qualities of matter that is used in art, My research involves the changes that take place in nature.Looking at nature evolving,transforming changes in pigment, charcoal, water and rock to make images and objects, which evidence a continual evolving oxidising process.
