re-framing

Lou Hankins

This online work was commissioned to re-launch the Axis artist database. A matrix offers a series of separate yet closely related video and textual narratives, based on the themes of change and transformation. As the viewer is led to various public sites located in Leeds and Barcelona, each narrative attempts to discover an inherent freedom felt by the artist exploring another city, and at the same time, seeks to reveal the structural limitations of the space(s) in which the narratives are sited. www.axisweb.org/flyer
