Red Beast

A quietly provocative performance installation - exploring contemporary perceptions of female body hair. Presenting an evocative visual and physical discourse on the grotesque, the disgusting, the body outside cultural conventions. This is a cross-disciplinary project where the audience is taken on an immersive guided journey, comprising 4 elements experienced in a specific order; video installation, image-text exhibition, live performance, participatory contribution to an artists book—given finally to each audience member as a gift.
