The aerial sculptures 'Abundance' and 'Reflex' describe the continual flow of repetitious and circular human activity on city streets. The structures reflect this continuum to create a dynamic movement in the architectural space. The shape of each piece relates to the development and expulsion of seeds from a pod. The air element 'Reflex' is connected to the land by use of mirror backed fused glass panels inset into the pavement, reflecting the painted silk components and acting as a virtual window. This concept was inspired by puddles of water that appeared at every street throughout the year 2000, reflecting Images of the cities and sky in layers of texture and colour.
