This is a fresco (pure pigment on lime) on a plastered panel. It shows a garden full of trees and birds with a wall and fence. On the wall is an empty bird cage. It is inspired by the fresco of Livia's Garden in Rome, painted over 2000 years ago, which i had dreamed of seeing.
