Rooted Flame

A layered painting on plywood panel in which circular forms emerge through a field of yellow, ochre, blue and black. A red linear thread moves across the surface, connecting each form like a held trajectory or internal signal. Built through repeated layering and reworking, the work considers fire as an elemental force that is both active and grounded: something rising, held and contained within matter.
