Secret sea exhibition

By Deborah Anne 2011 - 2012
For the Secret Sea Exhibition, I made three strands of work. In collaboration with Anne monk, there was a filmed performance called Stag in the Sea, which was projected onto a small sheet of polythene for the exhibition along with Lorraine’s film which was projected really large on the wall in the upstairs Gallery. Anne Monk’s drawings on sellotape were in this room as well, though the room was darkened for the films. Downstairs, I had six large 18 inch x 24 inch photographs of Lichen which had taken back the land. I had my artist’s book on a plinth along with items collected from the landscape which had been turned into solid silver.
