Sentinels II

Sentinels II is a direct reference to the two veteran oak trees which stand at the top of the drive to the National Trust historic property Allan Bank, estimated to be around 200- 250 years old. The reclaimed oak panels carry charcoal drawings inspired by the tree’s natural contours. The drawings are a carbon echo of the species who silently bear witness to our human activities recording our changing world.
