Retrieve nails from ash of burnt 6' x 8' shed
Store nails in jug on studio window-ledge for three years
Move house (store jug of nails in new shed at new house)
Forget about nails in jug, in box, in new shed, in garden of new house
Remember aforementioned nails but become convinced they are now lost
