Shopping and Drowning

By  Janet Sang 2007

Janet Sang

'Shopping and Drowning' has four parts entitled 'Arriving', 'Shopping', 'Drowning' and 'Legislating', assemblages of supermarket shopping baskets, stuffed hand sculptures and text. Visitors have to hire and push round the mirrored viewing trolleys, hybrids of shopping trolleys and office chairs, in order to view the four hanging assemblages and read the reversed text.
