Silent notes

By  Joanna Mowbray 2000 - 2001

Joanna Mowbray

Originally made especially for an international group exhibition of small sculpture, by invitation, for the Meguro Museum of Art in Tokyo, Japan. The exhibition was titled 'A Shriek from an Invisible Box'. The ideas for the soldered lead forms, were developed from small linear drawings in my notebook, considering the visual elements of balance, asymmetry, imperfection in nature and the direct, naturally drawn line. Price on application.
