Small Wonder, Waiting Time, As Long As They Were There and Pandora's Box

By Lucy Bevin 2026

This work explores Memory and the allure of the past drawing on the objects of memory e.g treasured possessions, the hoard and ornament.

By plundering my old art college note books I have produced a body of work which is at once deeply personal but at the same time explores the early thought processes and development of my own art practice. The act of repositioning the source material in order to make new work opens up opportunities of reflection and disclosure.

This work is included in Objects of Indifference and Love  at Newcastle's @36lime gallery curated by@salad4art until 8th August 2026.
