My most successful solo exhibition to date, at Cromer Artspace on the prom. I even sold darkroom prints \O/ which was a first, for me. Also showing were samples from my decades-long personal project; photographing every inch of the Norfolk coastline - from Heacham right the way round to Hopton. This is a difficult body of work to sell prints from, as the work is more documentary in flavour, than many of the more romanticised or "instagrammable" depictions of my home county.
We also built a darkroom at the back of the gallery, where I ran a couple of workshops for schools and local photographic artists. These included a new technique I discovered - Seaweed Slapping - on old bromide paper, and continuing to make photograms for my carbonC6 project. It was a packed week and was happy to welcome groups of students from local schools, who embraced the opportunity to create coursework using a wide range of materials and approaches.
