Splintered is a wall based mixed media sculpture. It can be seen in the Elemental exhibition at The Lake Gallery, 52 Grange Road, West Kirby, Wirral, CH48 4EF

The work was influenced by research into the impact of wild fires on nature. The materials and processes used allude to the devastation caused to the environment, leading to habitat loss and species decline.
