Bench

Taken from a series featuring the same set of benches positioned along a promenade, showing their occupants from behind. The images, in their similarity, invite us to study the relationship between the people who share a bench. Examinations of body language reveals stories - Do they know each other? Does the space between them denote arguments or uncertainty? Or have they simply found themselves at the call of the sea to take a moment to reflect upon their lives? The images offer us a small incite into our unconscious reactions to our surroundings and each other.
