Ten Veils

By  Henny Burnett 1999

Martin Urmson

Scattered across the veils like confetti are fragments of cast domestic utensils. Each veil is printed with fragmented images from different eras - photographs, wedding lists, orders of service. Each veil is individually titled : 'Rings: Wednesday 2.15'. 'Flower language', 'Crystal Spoons'. Ten veils shows the artists ongoing preoccupation with images of fragility, transience, memory.
