The Azimuth of Iron

Part of a series of mineral divination drawings made using homemade dowsing rods. Over a period of days at the very start of 2024 Bridget Kennedy mapped the inclinations of a small quantity of iron ore powder that she had encapsulated within a flax based resin disc. Tracking the points at which the mineral indicated its desired resting  Kennedy then created a constellation of the disc traces using iron ore powder as a drawing material.
