An ongoing series of ‘Interior studies’ which present a staging of ambiguous landscapes in a state of flux, a kind of problem solving of compositional order and chaos. These are psychological works, that journey to different types of places drawn from imagination. They contain motifs from art history books that drift in and out of the work and memories of places, including this series a trip to New Mexico 20 years ago
