The Eternal Punishment (After www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpCXvD0bWPc)

This is dry, arid scenery. As three suns shine brightly down on the barren wasteland only a few rocks and cacti break the monotony of the landscape. Your glance pans towards a curious mountain. As you slowly focus in on the horizon, you see in the centre a towering treelike structure. Next to this tree is a small pit. On the edge of the pit a man, Sisyphus, is trying to push a large boulder of fused metal into it. He has a stick which he uses as a lever to help move the boulder. Although he is a large man the boulder is larger still and as he strains with the stick fragments of the boulder break off and slide into the pit; however the boulder rolls back down to where it came from. Some fragments slide round and round the funnel-like sides of the pit leaving a trail of dust. Sisyphus tries to lever the boulder a second time and a few more fragments break off. He pushes with all his strength and the boulder finally gives and rolls into the pit, leaving a trail of dust behind it. Sisyphus stops, exhausted and breathing heavily, his eyes closed and head down. The three suns are shining brightly and it is obviously a hot day, even for this place. Sisyphus looks up into the suns. “This story won’t work if it rains,” he thought.
