The Forgotten is an ongoing piece about the impact of war on women with each patch representing a country in conflict. It has been regularly updated with new patches. However, since its inception, only two countries have had their patches removed due to a cessation, that is Armenia and Azerbaijan. Now, there are up to 63 countries with serious conflict from outright invasion e.g. Russia and Ukraine, to drug wars, civil unrest and others. It has become no longer possible to add more so it was necessary to think again. Now, I have created a travelling bundle, bound with ties relating to the patches, it is the blood and tears of the women's plight bound up with mine during the making.
