The Learning Curve

A spiral landmark sculpture in Watford, featuring 37 tactile/pictorial panels that entice the viewer to seek out the source of each image. The panels depict natural & man-made subjects from the immediate environment and were developed from workshops at West Herts College. Sited between the busy, modern High Street and a Sensory Garden in St Mary's Churchyard, the sculpture acts as an effective transition between the two distinctly different environments. One of a series of major public art commissions for Watford Council's Town Centre Enhancement Programme, funded by National Lottery.
