This pencil, charcoal and wash on paper drawing was one of a series I made for an early project I called ‘Presences of Old Houses in East Anglia’. It was first exhibited in my solo show ‘Philip Whiting: Works on Paper’ held at the Lauderdale House Gallery, Highgate, London in 1988.
