The Tea Party - Summer 2016

An addition to my cardboard figure series made as a response to the mayhem around the time of the referendum and beyond. They are a collection of characters that seemed to need 'making': my way of dealing with them and the multitude of feelings they provoke. All are political except for Lord Grosvenor who's situation represents, I think, a fundamental problem with the inequalities in our system. They are Jeremy Corbyn, Theresa May, Len McCluskey, Boris Johnson, David Cameron and Lord Grosvenor, the new Duke of Westminster. maximum height 190 cm cardboard, collage, gold leaf
