I began this work as an exploration / working study. I think the outcome captures the essence of drawing; highlighting the interplay of observation, imagination, and revision - A patchwork of decisions.
It is crucial for me to set aside commercial pressures, often associated with the expectation to create polished, marketable, or exhibition-ready pieces. Even the logistics of presenting the final work were not a priority. As an artist, my focus remains on the creative process rather than external validation. This approach always encourages new ideas and areas for discovery.
