Thereby Hangs a Tale

Farkas worked at Croft Castle to investigate its fabric and take photographs there over the past year. She has created an installation artwork that enlightens the darker recesses of the castle. The memories of Croft are steeped in many material textures - stone, wood, metal, blood, bone, water - but also in the subtleties of memories, history and legend, which Farkas imagines to have different textures in themselves.
