Those eyes are buried

The silk painting started off as an activity to release the structure of script writing and my relation to text. It was used as scripting for the film Nuortabealli (Sami for Nightshade) and as silk paint floats out when painted onto the silk surface, the words becomes less intelligible and one has to start using other methods to decipher the written words. Then I added patterns and colors that appeared in my mind whilst writing the text. The title refers to a metaphor in the film. After the process of writing / painting I started playing with placement and connection between stuff lying around and the painted surfaces and the flatness then became 3 dimensional.
