Time and Motion

Paying close attention to the people and labour involved in the manufacture of the humble road sweeper, Amanda has worked behind the scenes to produced the diptych film 'Time and Motion'. Johnston have been making road sweepers for over 100 years and are the biggest manufacturer of road sweepers in the world. The production line runs in shifts on a lean manufacturing basis. In response to the shift pattern, the two films are not completely identical and have different start times approximately 13 minutes apart.
