From the beginnings of a new series, exploring aspects of my local area of Leith in Edinburgh. Wall pieces and plates with textured surfaces, reflecting layers, fragments, overlooked details, and snippets of sights gathered though photographs. Everyday familiarity becomes unnoticed so its learning to look at it again with more purpose.
