transformation: series XII

This work has been started from my deep interest in Tao Te Ching by Laozi. To expand my visual language, some notes and mark-making on my sketchbook, after finishing reading a poem of river has been referred. Meanwhile, my meditative hours and prayer practice seem to influence upon working processes. Starting from simple composition using limited color palette, working process has been continued with the interactions between materials. It includes spending days sewing stitch by stitch of very thin papers and waiting silently for a visual language I’m curious to pursue. When I’ve finished this work, I’ve understood the more careful examination and openness to even a minute step, the more the work itself says naturally and consistently.
