Uniformity

By  Michael Isles 2024

A classic example of what is sometimes referred to as ‘Brutalism’ in architecture. It's a clunky term for a genre that can contain a wide range of styles and approaches. In this image, the building appeals through it's symmetry and uniformity, with the play of light on the lower windows teasing the viewer to look inside.
