Verse: Voices: Vistas

Verse: Voices: Vistas was commissioned by East Street Arts for 'Under The Paving Stones, The Beach' (www.utps.org.uk). It was the result of a creative collaboration between Sarah Spanton and some people who live, work and play in Chapeltown, Leeds. It was the culmination of a journey of meeting people, making connections, talking and finding out about how people feel about leisure, relaxation and play in their local area. The project features performers Caution Collective. The video was premiered at an event also entitled Verse: Voices: Vistas - which brought people together to see the video, chat over tea and cake, find out about the project through an exhibition and take part in a leisure mapping activity.
