"Viral Headlines".

The mixed media artwork was created in May 2020 in Flintshire,North Wales whilst in lockdown during the Corona virus pandemic.During this time,I became fascinated sketching out detail of the actual virus and this led to the creation of a series of artworks retaining the distinctive visual imagery .For "Viral Headlines",I sketched out a large drawing of the virus onto thick card and created a collage,gluing down, cut out newspaper headlines .The artwork provides a visual snapshot of the strange times,with the headlines jostling for attention.
