variable - this installation was within a 80' x 10' attic gallery
Installation of site-specific work exploring grief shame and place. The work was made over the course of a year when I returned to the Garw Valley to dig into the earth and into my past. I discovered what ‘disenfranchised’ feelings and experiences meant through my embodied engagement with already meaningful materials - the soil and clay. This work and research was made possible thanks to public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England, and the Brigstow Institute.
