There is a jealously guarded secret behind the closed eyes. Or is it the memory of solitude lasting in generations for even more than hundred years? Vanishing "layers" of the family are actually still present, they are all there... Made with layers of photocopies of other pieces of mine bound together with direct drawing and shading. Standard 2B graphite lead and soft wax colour pencils again secured in layers with acrylic fabric medium as if it were varnish on 225 gsm cartridge paper
