A new season of events with a focus on career and professional development for artists

Announcing 'Back to School with Axis'

September means back to school -  however old you are, so Axis is delighted to present our next season of events, 'Back to School with Axis' - a series of talks and workshops aimed at artists to give you the tools you need to navigate some of the most common challenges in your art career!

Including roundtables and talks from some brilliant speakers, all of whom have real, lived experience of working—and thriving—in the arts, we’ll be looking at what curators want, how to make your grant application stand out and whether doing a PhD is worth it! We'll also talk about budgeting, and hear from artists who have made writing a core part of their practice.

We're expecting a big response to these events, so do sign up ASAP to avoid disappointment! All events will be held on Zoom, and it's worth registering even if you're not able to make the date, as recordings will be shared afterwards.
