CALL FOR PROPOSALS: The Axis Fellowship 2024
Axis invites applications for the Axis Fellowship 2024, a prestigious, fully-funded development opportunity for early to mid-career artists. This initiative supports a cohort of three artists over two intensive 3-month periods: October - December 2024 and February - April 2025.
What are we offering?
- £4,000 funding to support your artistic development.
- Monthly cohort meetings with fellow artists for shared learning experiences.
- One-on-one mentoring with Axis staff and guest mentors.
- Two bespoke digital promotional pieces tailored to your practice, which could include videos, writing, online events, or other formats developed alongside you.
- Increased visibility through our digital platforms and social media channels
Who can apply?
- Two positions are open exclusively to Axis Professional Members.
- One position is open to Axis members of any paid membership type who meet the same criteria.
- Only UK-based Axis Members can apply.
- Members must have maintained their membership for at least 12 months or set up an annual membership one month before the application deadline.

- Closing date: 29 July 2024
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified: 1 September 2024
- Interviews will take place online: week commencing 9 September 2024
Expected Commitment
Only members who are fully committed to actively participating in monthly meetings, mentoring sessions, and creating promotional content should apply. We are looking for dedicated artists ready to invest time and effort into their professional growth and engagement.
