Introducing the Axis Art Film Festival 2025

We’re excited to launch the first ever Axis Art Film Festival – a new, week-long celebration of artist-led film and moving image.

Running online from 8–14 September 2025, the festival brings together over 30 short films by contemporary artists from across the UK and beyond. Each night focuses on a different theme, from nature and identity to power, grief, memory and queer perspectives.

Every screening includes a live Q & A with the artists and filmmakers, hosted by Lucy Wright.
