Axis Professional Member and recipient of the Axis Bursary, Luminara Florescu, shares an inside look into where and how they make work.

In this studio tour, Luminara Florescu invites us into the spaces where she makes her work.
 
Luminara will also be running a special member event in the Axis Community at 6pm, 25 June 2026 where she will introduce us to a resource she created called, ‘Contract of Self Care’ which is all about avoiding burnout for social practice artists and all artists!

I am a British-Romanian artist. My art practice is a form of Crip activism which aims to disrupt capitalist and ableist structures through embodying the Trickster super powers of humour, playfulness and doing less.
