What are the Benefits of Membership?

How Can I Join Axis?
The only way to join Axis is online. You can select your membership plan and choose to pay either monthly or annually, using Direct Debit or a Credit/Debit Card.

Renewing Your Membership
Your Axis membership will automatically renew at the end of your subscription period, ensuring uninterrupted access to all your benefits.
Cancelling Your Membership
We're sorry to hear you're considering leaving. Before you cancel, we encourage you to review the benefits you'll be missing out on. If you still wish to proceed, you can cancel by logging into your account and adjusting your subscription settings, or by contacting support@axisweb.org.
To delete your Axis account, please complete our Account Deletion Request form.
How Can I Change My Details?
You can update your personal details anytime by logging into your Axis account. It's quick and easy to manage your information and preferences.
Can I Get a Refund?
If you're not satisfied with your Axis membership, please send a refund request to support@axisweb.org within 14 days of your purchase. Refunds requested after this period are given at Axis's discretion.
What is the Process for Applying to Become a Professional Member of Axis?
Becoming a Professional member involves an application or nomination process. Learn more about the criteria and apply here.
What Does the Insurance Cover?
For UK-based members or those with a permanent UK address, our insurance covers:
- Public and Product Liability: Up to £10 million, with a £250 excess, covering the UK and European Union.
- Professional Indemnity: Up to £5 million, with a £250 excess, covering worldwide (excluding USA and Canada).

Is There a Minimum Term for Associate and Professional Membership?
If you claim the insurance associated with these memberships, then Yes, there is a one-year minimum term for these memberships, though you have the option to pay monthly.
Does Axis Offer Group Memberships?
We provide discounts for groups of 10 or more artists. For more details on how to apply for a group membership, get in touch.
Are There Any Discounts Available for Axis Memberships?
Axis is committed to making our community accessible to all artists. We offer concessionary rates across all membership levels for individuals who may face financial barriers. This includes:
- Individuals on benefits
- Recent graduates or emerging artists within the first three years of their practice

At Axis, we understand that circumstances can change, and we're committed to supporting our members through ups and downs. For members who have been with us for at least two years and are experiencing financial hardship, we offer several options to help, including payment holidays and discounts.
