My practice is rooted in intricate, handwritten text drawings that transform words into intimate, abstract forms. I use the writing process to record memories, reflections, and observations, or to repeat a single word until it transforms into abstract images. My interest lies in what happens when I sit down to write, how thought and emotion move through the hand, how discomfort softens into ease, and how repetition becomes a form of release.

Working primarily in pen and ink, often at large scale, I use colours drawn from nature, emotion, and the chakra system. From a distance the works read as ripples on water, fingerprints, tree rings, or woven fabric; up close, the density and quiet of the handwriting is revealed.

More recently, I've extended this language into sound, using my voice to carry the same words that once lived only in tiny, private script. Where the drawings can obscure thought within their intricacy, sound lets it be heard directly, adding another register to the dialogue between inner and outer worlds.

Across both mediums, my practice remains a meditation on attention, repetition, and release, an ongoing inquiry into how we might live with greater authenticity, curiosity, and compassion.
