Hove
I'm a multi disciplinary artist and mentor based in Hove at 106 Studios. My work spans drawing, painting, installation and performance with a focus on identity, mental health and connection to nature.

I use my practise to try and make sense of my place in the world as an artist, woman, mother and widow. It’s an attempt at a kind of personal anthropology in which I use photography, memory, imagination and sensual responses to materials and my environment to create new realities.

These realities embrace a multi disciplinary approach which emerges through a visceral and intuitive process.  Making work, for me, is a transformative act of liberation and acceptance of trauma and grief, creating and projecting a new vision for human experience. An act of reverence for mortality and rebirth allowing freedom of play and immersion in a bigger nature.
