Kerry Langsdale - The Art of Time Project

Nottingham
Kerry Langsdale is a multidisciplinary artist and philosopher whose work explores time and temporality, often through live or participatory art.

Langsdale blends their background in academic philosophy with art as a method of philosophical and metaphilosophical inquiry, posing questions or inviting speculation that may be difficult to articulate or that lie beyond the scope of traditional discourse.

Langsdale's practice is philosophically rigorous while maintaining accessibility, producing works that are both conceptually rich and widely engaging. Through live performance, interactive installations, and workshops, they create environments that invite audiences to engage directly with philosophical ideas.

Time is a recurring theme throughout Langsdale’s work. By creating spaces where time can be felt, measured, or disrupted, their practice encourages shared reflection on the nature of time, and how we experience and understand temporality. Positioned between contemporary art and philosophy, the work brings thinking, making, and collective temporal experience into close conversation.
