Patricia Chu
Making work is a very intimate and personal way of expression. My thoughts, concerns and feelings are reflected on my work: its subject, materials I use and the way it is made.
My life and my work echo and influence each other. Both are unknown journeys; not knowing what lies ahead, what will be the outcome, but both face challenges and uncertainties, and both require resilience not to give up.
Every day I live or marks that I put on a surface are mini journeys. I do not know where they will lead me. I just do my best to make them as worthwhile and as meaningful as possible.
