Richard Nicholls
I am a multi-disciplinary visual artist creating graphic and design driven artwork.
I make work exploring topics around equality, technology and the environment using digital and photographic techniques. The work is mainly project based, making series of images which work together within a theme or concept, or which respond to an underlying real-world issue or concern.
My focus is currently on making patterned artwork from the written word, translating text and data into colourful, rhythmic forms.
I work from a studio space as part of the Worcester Arts Collective, an artist-run space in the centre of Worcester. We hold exhibitions and events, supporting local artists through creative initiatives and projects.
