Exploring landscape, people, place and identity though visual arts and community co-created work
Tony Wade is a Wakefield-based artist who explores the emotional impact landscapes can have on humanity. He believes that our interactions and relationships with landscape, both urban and rural, can provide magical experiences, only if we look.
Wade graduated from Bretton Hall College, Leeds University, with a BA in Fine Art in 1986. Wade’s practice investigates the infra-ordinary and looks for ways – through painting, sculpture, installation, light, and music – to explore and share those experiences.
