2m is designed to remind us of the 2m distancing brought in for our safety during the pandemic. The scale of the sculpture, its colour in NHS blue and the use of simple construction materials is designed to connect with the every day experience we have all been through since early 2020. The sculpture is as much about the negative space and the volume of air contained within the 2m structure as it is with the structure itself. Exhibited at the Foundry in Sheffield Cathedral, a project also curated by Peter Walker
