360 degree trees

By  Chris Wright 2017

Chris A. Wright

A day out on Stanton Moor created the opportunity to explore neglected parts of my practice. Whilst drawing is always part of my documentation process, it rarely stands alone. This pencil drawing is a panoramic outline of the trees whilst the rubbing is the tree trunk at the centre around which my drawing was made. I realised that the curatorial aspect was really important and spent a long time playing with ways to display. Whist the drawing is not hugely meretricious of such treatment, the results will feed into the rest of my work.
