This work is part of a series that combines found objects with natural forms and drawing. The GPS coordinates embedded in the title, the drawing and in the chalk refer to the location where these number plate fragments were found. Stumbled upon during a Circular Walk on the Hampshire Hangers, Nikkalite is the product name of this ubiquitous reflective sheeting, manufactured in China and shipped all over the globe by Nippon Carbide Industries in Japan. The cycle of lost and found continues as I embed the objects into chalk from the same location and subsequently scrutinize them further through the process of drawing. Drawing and objects are displayed in close proximity underlining this link.
