A Herbal Notebook 2

A highly tactile translucent book, made from layered paper tissue and silk. Open spine stitched. Images by Pat Hodson are interleaved by Poem sequence by Liz Cashdan. Each page is different. Some simply made from silk and then digitally printed, some layered paper, others layered with a silk core, with embedded patterns and drawings. The drawing may be in the page, or printed digitally on to the surface of the page. The box, and book covers are of encaustic collage. The box made from wood primed with traditional gesso.
