Above and Below // Uwchlaw ac Islaw

Above and Below // Uwchlaw ac Islaw, a major exhibition at Capel Bethel in Cwmrheidol curated by Alice Forward in summer 2023, in collaboration with Ioan Lord and Louise Short. It showcased Ioan Lord's extraordinary collection of mining artefacts, which he has been collecting from abandoned local mines since the age of eight, as well as paintings, drawings and sculpture by 9 visual artists. Much of the work was made specifically for the exhibition.
